H.I.D.E. – Official Rules & Code of Conduct

By playing H.I.D.E., you agree to follow these rules. They exist to keep the game fair, competitive, and fun for everyone. Violations may result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans depending on severity and repetition.

1. Respect & Player Behavior

  • All players must be respectful toward others.
  • Slurs, sexual harassment, racial or discriminatory language are strictly forbidden.
  • Any form of hate speech or toxic behavior will not be tolerated.
Punishments:
• First offense: Temporary ban
• Second offense: Longer ban or permanent ban, depending on severity

2. Player Names & Usernames

  • Inappropriate, offensive, or misleading usernames are not allowed.
  • This includes names containing:
    • Slurs or hate speech
    • Sexual or explicit content
    • Racial, religious, or discriminatory language
    • References to cheating, hacking, or illegal activity
    • Names impersonating developers, admins, moderators, or staff
Punishment:
➡️ Forced name change, warning, or temporary ban
➡️ Repeated or severe cases may result in a permanent ban

3. No Teaming

Teaming with other players is strictly forbidden, for both Props and Hunters.

Examples of Teaming (including but not limited to):

  • Props helping Hunters
  • Revealing prop locations by shooting darts or projectiles
  • Moving toward another prop’s location while Hunters follow
  • Hunters helping Props
  • Intentionally not killing props when their location is obvious
  • Ignoring props on purpose to help them survive
Punishment:
➡️ Temporary ban, escalating to permanent ban for repeat offenses

4. Glitches & Exploits

While developers are actively fixing bugs, some glitches may still exist.

  • Exploiting glitches for an unfair advantage is discouraged.
  • Game-breaking glitches are not allowed.

Severe Exploits Include:

  • Glitches that make props invincible
  • Glitches that prevent props from being killed by guns or grenades
Punishment:
➡️ Temporary or permanent ban, depending on severity

5. Hacks & Cheats

  • The use of hacks, cheats, scripts, macros, or third-party software is strictly forbidden.
  • This includes (but is not limited to): aimbots, wallhacks, ESP, speed hacks, modified APKs, or modified game clients.
  • Any attempt to gain an unfair advantage through external tools or client manipulation is not allowed.

Examples of Cheating Include:

  • Downloading or using pre-made cheats (e.g., speed hacks, modified APKs, third-party cheat apps or websites)
  • Running unauthorized scripts, code, or automation tools
  • Modifying the game client or APK in any way
  • Injecting code or sending abnormal requests that overload or manipulate the server
Punishments:
➡️ Pre-made Cheats / Speed Hacks / Modified APKs
  • First offense: Temporary ban
  • Second offense: Longer ban
  • Final offense: Permanent ban

➡️ Client Modification / Code Injection / APK Modification
  • Immediate permanent ban

6. Impersonation

  • Impersonating developers, admins, moderators, or staff members is not allowed.
  • Using names, tags, or behavior intended to mislead others into thinking you are staff is prohibited.
Punishment:
➡️ Warning or temporary ban
➡️ Repeated offenses may result in a permanent ban

7. Match Sabotage / Griefing

  • Intentionally ruining or sabotaging a match is not allowed.
  • Examples include:
    • AFK farming
    • Blocking teammates on purpose
    • Refusing to play your role intentionally
    • Throwing rounds or deliberately helping the enemy team
Punishment:
➡️ Warning or temporary ban
➡️ Repeat behavior may result in a longer ban

Final Notes
• Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse.
• Staff decisions are final.
• If you find a glitch, report it instead of abusing it.

Play fair. Hide smart. Hunt clean.
